The past two weeks have been super busy for me! I have hardly had time to do anything but eat, sleep, run, and homework. Right now I am traveling to Lexington, KY for the SEC indoor meet, so I have some time to give an update. I ran in Arkansas at the Tyson Invite two weekends ago. I ran the 5K in 18:27, a 16 second pr! The meet was so much fun. Friday night they had invite races (races with really good runners, some who were in the Olympic trials and even the Olympics!) I will upload some pictures of these incredible runners tonight. The race this weekend will be our last indoor meet! I run the 3K on Saturday night.
I am not Catholic, but I think that lent is a pretty awesome thing. I don't know much about the history behind it, or even about its full meaning. But if Jesus Christ gave his life up for me, than I can give up something for forty days. My teammate, Renee, and I are giving up chocolate together. I know it's kind of cliche, but I think it's a good thing to give up, considering how much I love it! It's good that we are doing it together, because if I was doing it by myself, I don't know if I could make it. Anyone else giving up something for lent?

i used to give up foods for lent but now i add something to my routine. for instance, scripture memory has been a fun thing to do. have a great race on saturday! we'll be praying for you!
ughh...now I feel horrible. I AM Catholic and all I have done is eaten junk this week! So much for lent! One year I gave up caffeine, but as a kid I think I would always end up cheating or forgetting. ha! Super cool on another PR!!!
