What can we Learn From the Life of Samson?

I am reading through the bible this year, and I have really enjoyed it so far. I like the schedule because it has you read one book out of the old testament and then one from the new testament. I use the Life Application Study Bible, and I love it because it has cross-references and notes for different verses. This morning I was reading about Samson in the book of Judges. While I don't always agree with what their notes say, I thought this one was pretty good:
1.) You must decide what kind of person you will love before passion takes over.
2.) Determine whether a person's character and faith in God are as desirable as his or her physical appearance.
3.) Because most of the time you spend with your spouse will not involve sex, your companion's personality, tempermate, and commitment to solve problems must be as gratifying as his or her kisses.
4.) Be patient. The second look often reveals what is beneath the pleasant appearance and attentive touch.

Good advice, I think, and that is coming from a married woman (or girl...I still feel like a girl :).
