4:30

I am surprised at how easily waking up at 4:30 every morning is for me. I have always thought my dad was crazy for waking up that early to study his sermons, and now I realize I am just like him! I wake up this early every morning because I start running at 5:30. I like to have an hour to drink my coffee and spend time in the Word and prayer before I get my day started. I have been running with a teammate who is also here this summer, and it has been going so well! I feel like I am getting stronger and fitter. We had a fartlek workout yesterday: 5X5 minutes with 4 minutes recovery in between intervals. It was hard, but awesome! It is so nice to get my running done that early in the morning!

There is a group from Taiwan that is here this month taking classes, and I was able to meet them through a friend who is taking a class with them. It has been a lot of fun getting to know them and hanging out with them. They are so fun and so loving! They came to church Sunday, and we went to lunch Sunday afternoon. My friend, Tyler, has been able to share about God's salvation to them multiple times. We talked a lot about it at lunch Sunday, and I hope God keeps giving us opportunities. They seem to be very open. I pray that they see a difference in us and that God reveals himself to them and opens their hearts to His salvation. Tomorrow night we will have dinner together and do some more hanging out!

Off to battle Wal-mart...I will not be defeated!
