Well, the pain in my leg isn't better. I went to practice yesterday morning, started to run, and the pain was exponentially worse than it was Friday. I kept running to see if it would get any better, but that didn't work. I can tolerate running with pain...I've been running with shin splints for over a year. But this pain was unbearable. It is a sharp, stabbing pain in my knee, more on the inside. It feels like it's underneath my kneecap, and it hurts the worst going downhill. I hobbled back to the track and hopped on the elliptical. I didn't want to try biking because it hurts the more I bend it. I could still feel pain doing the elliptical, but it was tolerable. I have been icing and taking ibuprofen since Friday. My trainer still thinks it is just inflammation. I hope that is all it is and that it will be better soon. If it isn't better by Monday, I am seeing the doctor on Tuesday. I am trying to keep my leg straight for now because I don't feel the pain if it stays straight, but that makes it hard to walk, sit, and put on clothes. From my own research, it sounds like "runner's knee." It is very odd to me, thought because it just popped up out of nowhere. It wasn't a gradual worsening pain...it just hit me when I started my run on Friday. Hopefully it will go away as quickly as it came.
My hardest exam is tomorrow, yet I have no motivation to study. Hopefully being at Strangebrew drinking some coffee will give me a boost!

Hey Loren,
I hope you are feeling better and that the Colorado air was an instant healer. I think there is something special in that altitude that heals all injuries.
