I am currently in my hotel bed in Nashville anxiously awaiting my flight to Colorado. I still cannot believe I have this amazing opportunity, and it begins in less than 24 hours! I cannot wait to see God's creation in this part of the country. Part of what this camp is about is showing people how God has revealed himself in his creation.
"The Heavens tell of the glory of God. The skies proclaim his marvelous craftsmanship. Day after day they pour forth speech, night after night they make him known." Psalm 19:1-2.
I am so excited to see Renee! It has been about 3 weeks since we have seen each other, but it feels like months. It is going to be awesome to get to share this experience with her!
I am a little worried about adjusting to the altitude. I am going to stay hydrated and take my first week very easy with running. Hopefully my body will easily adjust.
The past 2 weeks at home have been wonderful. I have loved getting to spend time with my grandfather every day. My favorite part about coming home is family dinner. Paul and Heather come over, and my mom and dad cook a feast! Family dinner at the table is one thing I really miss being away from home.
I fly out at 9:00 tomorrow morning! I pray that during my time in Colorado God will draw me closer to himself and use me for his glory!

Loren, I am SO excited for you!!!! Have so much fun in Colorado! We will miss you though :( I have equated you being home (family dinners) to me gaining 5 lbs, haha. Love you bunches!
