I anticipate pumpkin season every year! I know that it's pumpkin time when Starbuck's starts selling their pumpkin spice latte. From pies to breads to drinks, if it is pumpkin, I love it. I have found a lot of pumpkin recipes, so I decided to do some cooking this week. Last night, a girl on my team (Sarah) came over and we made spiced pumpkin biscuits and pumpkin pie shakes. The biscuits were very good, but the star of the night was the shake! It is my new favorite dessert. It is canned pumpkin, vanilla ice cream, milk, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice. So easy, but oh so good! I will definitely be making them again. Tonight I made pumpkin bread. It just came out of the oven. I tried a small bite and it was very good. Sarah found a recipe for pumpkin waffles, so I think that will be our next adventure. Walmart is also selling pumpkin pie spice eggnog and it is very good, but very high in calories and fat so moderation is key. I think I will try to make a pumpkin pie soon, or I have a recipe for a pumpkin pie cake. If you have any good recipes, let me know!
I am going home after my workout tomorrow!!! It is my first time all semester! I am so excited to see my grandfather and my best friend! (and of course my family). It will be a short trip, but I know it will be worth it!
4 mile tempo in the morning! I did a 6 mile one on Tuesday that went really well, so hopefully this one will be just as good or even better!

yay for pumpkin! pumpkin bread sounds so delicious
awesome! you know, last year I actually cleaned and steamed my own pumpkin for the first time ever. Then I stored it in the freezer, and any time I needed oil for baking, I replaced it with a cup of pumpkin. It is awesome! Have a great trip home! Thinking of you!!!! :))))))
