I'm done! The semester is over! I finished me last exam Tuesday morning and traveled home Wednesday. It was odd because I really wasn't ready to leave. Starkville has become home to me. Three weeks is going to be a long time. But I am happy to be home. It will be so good to be with my family.
As I was driving home yesterday, my throat became sore. The soreness worsened the whole day and into the night. It was at its worst when I was trying to get to sleep. I have been sucking on zinc lozenges and living off of hot tea. Despite my sore throat, I ran 12 miles this morning. Fortunately, Haley (a teammate from Memphis), ran the first 9 with me. It went a lot better than I had expected. My post-run meal was chicken noodle soup with grilled cheese, the best comfort food when you don't feel well.
I wanted to get some things done today: go to the grocery store, run errands for my grandfather, and do laundry. After running 12 miles and dying of a sore throat, I have had no motivation to do any of those things, so I have resorted to playing the piano and watching tv. Hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.

i think it is so cool that you can play the piano loren. i miss you so much, it's so hard to explain, i just misssssss you so much.
its the kinda of "missing" a little kind feels after christmas has gone by....i miss christmas. well, i miss loren!
i can't wait to see you again, whenever that may be love.
